It was really glorious watching the sun rise behind a coaster.  I just wish all the hotels weren't there filling up the views.

Sitting here in February writing this with the temperature outside below freezing I can feel that warm Texas sun breaking the horizon and hitting my face and it really makes me long for spring and of course parks opening up so that I can go ride.

Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington, TX

Six Flags Over Texas was the first Six Flags and they proudly display all six flags that have flown over the state.  There's Spain, France, Mexico, the Confederacy, Republic of Texas with of course The United States of America rounding off all of the flags that have flown over Texas' soil.

I'd love to be able to watch the sun rise from the top of the Texas Chute Out, that is of course before plunging two-hundred feet to the ground on this parachute ride.
